The SAM Defender can monitor and identify Medical, Industrial, and NORM isotopes in real time (expandable isotope library). It can also perform spectrum analysis, dose rate calculation (rem or Sv), total dose, audible search tool, data logging and more using the software. Meets and exceeds ANSI 42.34 (American National Standard Performance Criteria for Handheld Instruments for the Detection and Identification of Radionuclides).
